RIDE LONDON - Raising funds for the Friends of PICU

We are now only 3 weeks away from our ride and we would like to thank you for your amazing support. As you know we are raising funds for the Friends of PICU and in particular we are trying to buy an NIRS monitor. Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is a spectroscopic method that uses the near-infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum to measure regional oxygen saturation levels.  One particular use is for cardiac patients. Due to the small size of infants doctors have difficulty assessing whether the infant's brain and body is getting enough oxygen.  This machine can help.
