Admissions
For Bracknell Forest residents, please visit www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/applyforprimary for further information on how to apply.
Non-Bracknell Forest residents must apply via their own local authority, even if the place is in a Bracknell Forest school. Please check the website of your home local authority for more information.
Medical conditions notice
If your child has a long-term medical condition requiring medication during the school day, please ensure that you notify the school office by completing the medical section of the admission booklet, or by emailing secretary@meadowvaleprimary.com with full details.
- If your child has asthma, please complete an asthma action plan and long-term medical form.
- If your child has an allergy, please complete the allergy action plan and long-term medical form.
For all other conditions, please contact the school office for advice.
Year 6: Admission to secondary school
If you have a child who is currently in Year 6, please ensure that your application for Secondary School (Year 7 for September 2025) is submitted to your home local authority by the national closing date, 31st October 2024.
Bracknell Forest residents can apply online at www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/applyforsecondary, or a paper form can be requested from the School Admissions Team.
Applicants must apply to their home local authority no matter what school they wish to apply for.
- If your child has an EHCP, then their admission to secondary school will be dealt with by their SEN Officer.
- If your child is undergoing an EHCP needs assessment or EHCP is not yet finalised, then you should still ensure an on-time application is submitted to School Admissions in the interim. This can be withdrawn, if required, at a later date.
If you are not applying for a school place as you have made alternative arrangements such as private or home education, then you should contact School Admissions to confirm your arrangements.
