School attendance
We seek to ensure that all pupils receive a full-time education which enhances and maximises the opportunities for each pupil to reach their individual potential. We strive to provide a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where each member of the school community feels wanted, cared-for and secure. We seek to work closely with pupils and their families to ensure each pupil attends school regularly and punctually.
Reporting absence
To report a child absent, please call the school office on 01344 421046 and select option 1. Alternatively, email: attendance@meadowvaleprimary.com

Leave of absence procedures
As detailed in our attendance policy, and in line with DfE guidance, we do not authorise leave of absence during term time other than when exceptional circumstances permit. If you wish to take your child out of school during term time, it is important to discuss this with us so that we can guide you through the process.
Where absences are unauthorised, it could lead to further action being taken by the school, including a fixed penalty notice (FPN) being issued.
