Our special connection with Rwanda

We are proud to share our meaningful connection with Rwanda. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sam Hunt, who gave us an incredible insight into life in Rwanda and how it differs from our own. She also provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to reach out by writing letters and cards to children in Rwanda.

Inspired by Sam's visit, we embarked on a fundraising journey to support Rwandan children by purchasing goats - an important resource for their communities. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community, we raised over £700! Not only were we able to provide several goats, but we also achieved something truly special: purchasing a cow, the most valued commodity in Rwanda.

We invite you to watch the heart-warming video of the celebrations as the cow was presented in our school's name. You can also explore the wonderful pictures and videos of the children receiving the heartfelt letters and cards from our students. This experience has been a powerful reminder of the impact kindness and generosity can have across the world.
